Kennel time!!

The best outdoor kennel purchase I ever bought! It's a chain link fence 6ft tall with a door and a frame. If you are in need of a kennel for a low key animal/dog- this is the kennel! It's a kennel two people can put together - my Brother in law and me put it together- it did take some time to put frame together and pull the chain link around it tight. The instructions were easy once you understood it. But I've had Jill's kennel outside for almost a year now and it's held up through a lot wind and weather. I didn't even put stakes in the ground.

Now I will say that if your dog is a bad digger, jumper, or gets bored easily! Which most dogs do! This may not be the kennel for you. Jill did dig a hole by the door and it got really muddy- but she finally gave up. Also I will say if Jill tried harder she probably could have gotten out under the chain link fence- if I didn't zip tie it down tight. So there are some parts to the kennel that were a lil sketch but overall I would buy it again. The door handle was hard to get open but then again don't you want it to be!;-) there also were some bigger openings by the door that I eventually zipped tied down.

I hope that is enough information for people to go off of. This kennel can be purchased at Home Depot. It's probably around 250-300$.

Happy tails!

Chuck it flyer

I bought this frisbee out of desperation because I drove to Arkansas without any toys! We went to Petco and I some things. I spent a pretty penny on this one because I thought it would last for a long time. I have bought chuck it brand before and I still have those toys. So thinking that I justified the price! Well we had it less than a week. and it fell apart. It was shredding all over the yard, 2" threads were coming off. The foam in the middle was intact and that's why it was floatable but that was cheaply made. The only part of it left is the rubber circular part and that's it and it's pitiful looking. So take my advice and try and stick with buying only rubber frisbee if you want one to last for awhile.

Petco frisbee $10 review

I bought a frisbee from Petco, for $10.00 about two years ago. It was the best purchase I made a long time ago.It is rubber and has a little paw print pattern. My dog plays with all the time. It is good on her teeth. It is just now finally tearing in the middle frisbee. So it was a good purchase. It also flys decent, the middle of the frisbee starts to cone up towards the top and it won't fly right, for a real frisbee dog. Now since the middle has ripped it's not flying good.I would say it's a good buy if you want a frisbee that is decent, cheap and you won't play with hard cord, then it will last even longer than mine did! I hope that helps!

Review of frisbee from Walmart

I bought Jill a frisbee from Walmart for like a 1.99$ and it was cheap looking from the beginning and all plastic with a paw print on it. My dog is a dog that is constantly playing and catching frisbee with me and even without me. It lasted maybe two weeks, she cut her mouth on it and it starting chipping little pieces off of it and then into larger pieces. I would not recommend buying this frisbee unless your dog is not going to be playing with a frisbee everyday. It does not hold up very well, you get what you pay for!

Snow dayz with Jill !

I hope all dogs like the snow! My Jill loves digging into the snow and running through it. I wish there were toys that were made for dogs to play in the snow with. We have lost several tennis balls out there the past couple of weeks. She will chase after the ball but then dig into the snow causing the ball to go deeper and losing it! When the snow melts we will discover about ten balls in the yard somewhere! Any ideas for toys to buy to play in the snow with?

Ring bear or flower girl??

I'm getting married! Wow! I still can't believe it! So I've obviously had to make some plans as to who is in the wedding party?? Jill has been apart of my fiancés life since we begun dating, he absolutely loves her! We were playing with the idea of having her walk down the aisle before me ? She's such a great dog, that she would walk down and then sit and stay where you want her! We haven't offically decided yet, but I'm sure we will still have her apart of it somehow:-) anyone else ever put their pets in their wedding?

While you were out...

Jill has to stay home when I go to work. I don't like kenneling her because she really is a good dog 99% of the time! They say you shouldn't leave your dog in the kennel for more than 6 hours..... Well that's impossible I work a 8 hour day! Anyways I let her roam the house.... I've came home to her eating dry egg noodles that she got out of the pantry herself, ( I really think she was hungry because she hadn't been eating her food) , a Christmas present toy chewed up( if you know Jill then you understand- any type of children's toy or balls, left on the ground Jill will try to play fetch with) and an accident(no ones perfect) . It's been getting harder for her to adjust to living on our own in our own place. I pretty much have a routine at night and in the morning and she knows. She tries to follow me real close, get into the car, or give me hugs:(::::. It makes it hard to go to work somedays.( I can't imagine what it's like with a real baby!)

I've heard of doggie day cares, where you drop your dog off for the day to play and get walked while you're working, etc. I live in the middle of corn fields, so there are no daycares close enough to consider. I don't no if I would pay for it or not?

Does anyone have any tips for leaving your dog at home ? Or advice on the doggie day care?
